CANADA part 2

 Finally I have gotten the time to post CANADA part 2! This part is about the moss forest. Moss Forest is referring to this.....

I have waaaaaaaay too many pictures of this forest so I am gonna

have to show you a few out of the 500! Joking! But you have to agree

with me, how can you not take 500 pictures of THIS....

Hannah looks SO pretty in this picture. I love the was you can

just see her body sinking into the moss. A few of us girls were saying

"if we ever were stranded on this island, I would have no problem

sleeping here." It was totally true! Now I just have a few more pictures

I HAVE to show you.

There was this very interesting tree (as you can see) that had fallen,

and all its roots had made a very interesting cave underneath. The

only one brave enough to go under so I could take a picture of it, was

Rachel. A really good church friend. Everyone else was afraid of spiders.

And last but not least, A good old christian cross! Some of you might

not be able to see it, but I did, and thought it was pure perfection.

My last section will be the best. Silhouettes! My favorite section. It will

be a pretty long one too!

CANADA part 1

 I haven't posted anything in a long time because my dad and 2 of my sisters and I were on a father/daughter fishing trip. We had tons of fun and everyone was safe. Surprisingly we caught a lot of fish. The first day I caught 10 fish in about an hour, but most were too small to keep. The last day, I caught a fish so big it broke my line :( I'm still upset about that. The trip was a week long so I'm posting in sections.

This section is all about having shore lunch. Maybe you didn't know that you have to catch your own fish for shore lunch. We ended up having plenty of fish for everyone to eat...actually we had too much fish, so we had to give some to the seagulls. Potatoes, onions, and cookies were tasty additions.
       
                                                     #1- fillet the fish.

#2- wash the fillets

#3-cut the fish to to a good size.

Finally your hard work pays off! :)

And the potatoes are done too.

Everyone was STUFFED!

A contest?

I can't believe I'm almost on my 50th post! That may not sound as exciting to you as it is to me, but it is extremely exciting to me. I've only had this blog since April.

I hope to be holding a contest soon but I need to ask you a huge question before hand. How do you host a contest? I guess that was more than a big question. Without that question there would be no contest. Does someone donate the prize, or do you buy it yourself...or make it?

                I guess I'll have to leave you with one picture because...."a post without a picture is just boring!"

Evel Knievel

Nobody laugh okay?  Have anybody been to the Harley Davidson Museum? I have gone 2 times and I've thought it was pretty cool. Now I don't want  you to think my family is into Harley Davidson....because we're not. Anyways, this is a picture of us in the Evel Kneivel exhibit. Laugh your heads off!

Cookie Recipe

This is that perfect cookie recipe you look for, but never find. Well now, finally, me and myself, have found it! Its so good that the next day it tastes just as good. A tip for anyone to always make better cookies it to NEVER USE BUTTER trust me I learned that the hard way!

1/2 cup of oil
1 tsp. of vanilla
1/2 cup of white sugar
2 cups of flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup vegetable shortening (margarine)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cream of tarter
2-3 cups of chocolate chips
1/2 cups of Heath of Toffee

Mix, oil shortening, vanilla and sugars, add egg, flour, soda, salt, and cream of tartar, mix well. add LOTS of chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet and bake in 350 degree oven for 8 min.

Mmmmmm.....

a very busy week

This is a extremely funny picture that Leah took of Hannah, Mom, Me, Sophia, and Lindsay. We were just about to eat dinner at a Mexican restaurant when Leah decided to take some pictures. Leah told us "All make a really cheesy smile." We all did what she said, of course, and this is how our picture turned out..

I like this one too. The fence gives an interesting

look to the picture! A guy was fishing for fish (Well, Duh) in

that river. But not with worms, or Minos, but...CORN!

And last but not least a great big lake!

My Dad had a bunch of stuff that we get to do every summer for his work. His office actually rents the zoo so  we get free everything for a night! You know all those food stands? All that stuff is free! We also got to go to a Keith Urban concert!!!!!! I can't believe I actually got to see him! He was really good, of course, and we all enjoyed ourselves a lot. The morning we got to go to the zoo for free we also ran a 5K. I'm so proud of myself for not breaking down in the middle of it! On the car ride to the zoo my legs started to kill! Hope everyone had just as good of a weekend as I did. God Bless!

Out West, and Moses!

I finally got around to showing you some of our out west pictures! Some of you might not of known that I was going out west...okay all of you didn't know! The kitten is doing great and he likes our cat Zeke...but Zeke doesn't care for the kitten. We are still giving Moses some chances! Yes Moses!  Yesterday they were actually playing together! Well anyways I wasn't posting about kittens, I was going to tell you about my trip! We had lots of fun and I met some cousins I never met before! I love you Bella!!!!!!!

Our Kitten

We are currently trying to adopt a baby kitten we are trying to figure out names for him but we can't agree on just one! I will show you a picture of him and you can comment and tell me which name you think is the best! we are going with names from people of the bible....Moses, Daniel, Smokey, Timothy, and any other candy names if you can think of some! Oh yeah, before you get to excited I have to tell you that we might not actually get this kitten we are still trying to adjust him to our other cat....Zeke. we thought we might need another cat because Zeke is getting old and kind of sick! He's not being his regular self! well here is a Adorable Picture of the Kitten.......

He has the biggest eyes you could ever imagine on a cat!

The Beautiful Flower Field

I know I already have to many pictures with this dress, but it looks so good in pictures! This time were in front of our house in this BIG flower field! The picture at the end is  with me and my photographer, my sis Leah! If some of you were wondering why I haven't posted anything in so long, its because I've been on vacation... Big Sky Montana! We had a Family Reunion. I will post some pictures of that too tomorrow, or at least sometime soon! Hope you guys all had a wonderful weekend/summer!
