Random :P

Hey Everyone! I haven't been on my blog in a long time so I am SO sorry! I'm sure you can all relate to the Christmas season being the busiest of all. Well I think it's safe to say that it was the busiest year for us. We did so many things. It was very fun, but after a while I got pretty tired. It began Thurs. when we went o the movie theater with our family friend Trevor! He is super fun and we will miss him when he has to go back to train to be in the air force. After Thursday, we just ended up going to bed at 12:00 for the next 4 days! Now finally, I have some time to write on my blog. Do you ever have it were you start a post and then go off to help someone and come back and the tab you minimized is gone? Well, that happens to me almost every time I start a post! Sorry, That was a little random well, anyways here are a few pictures.......

Christmas Trees and Ornaments.

Usually we go up north to a cabin my Grandpa owns, and pick a tree out there. But this time, since it got to snowy to fast we didn't have time. So instead I got to enjoy my first time Christmas tree shopping!

Since the trees Up North (were we usually go Christmas tree shopping) are not grown to be perfect trees, we were surprised at how well this one stood up. Usually our tree is always falling down...actually, I don't think there's ever been a time were it hasn't :( Here is a adventure story of how last years tree turned out......

Lindsay, Callie, and mom were hanging up Christmas Ornaments. Mom was up on the rafters with a ladder, and Callie was hanging up ornaments on one side while Lindsay handed them to her.

Mom: "Doesn't the tree look beautiful?"

Callie: "Mmmhmm Lindsay could you hand me that ornament?"

Lindsay: Sure, which one?"

Callie: "Either one, I don't care."

Lindsay: "Here you go."

Right as Callie started to reach up to put the ornament on the tree she realized the tree was moving. She said....

Callie: "Hey mom, I think the tree is falling?"

Mom: "What do you mean........ (the tree starts tilting right towards Callie)........It's not falling."

Callie: "NO.....MOM THE TREE IS FALLING!"

Mom: "Ahhhh, it's falling...were's dad? Mark?!?!?!

Mom clasped the tree by the very tip and tried to hold on as tight as she could. She started to yell for dad!

Mom: "MARK......MARK......MARK HURRY..........

Callie & Lindsay: "DAD....DAD....HURRY..THE TREE, IT....IT....IS FALLING....

Hannah, Dad, and Sophia were down stairs I jumped off the ladder and mom was just about to fall when dad came up and ran to the rescue!!!! It took us three hours to set the tree up just right after that. Thankfully it never fell when all the ornaments were on, and only a few ornaments were damaged. We were so thankful when it was finally all over.

This our tree this year how does it look? It was actually a pretty easy tree to put the lights on. The only problem was getting all the ornaments on. The ornaments were a little to heavy for that.  I think this might be my favorite Christmas tree we've ever had.

How was my story? Did you like it? Should I become a writer? I wonder how far I'd get? Joking!!!!!!  Don't forget to comment about my contest!

Moses....He is just plain wierd!

Hey Everybody! Today we got snowed in. We got at least 4in. of snow! Can you believe it? I would like to post about my sweet kitten Moses. Moses is a really loving cat....a little to loving sometimes. For some reason he always wants to be around us. He is constantly looking in our window and pawing at the door (now tell me, isn't that only a dog thing? Just a few minutes ago he was looking in at us from the window, the only difference was that it is freezing cold and snowing like nuts. He still wanted to just look at us though. After a while he decided to go under the tarp on our back porch. He is still there...I think. He is still so goofy, and sometimes a little stupid. But my whole family just fell in love with him.

Lindsay says: "Either he's really, really devoted to us....or he's dumb, or both".
She can be very silly sometimes! I love her too, way more than I love Moses!

Winter...and a perfect cup of cocoa

Hey everyone, it's winter here! We have about six inches of snow on the ground. I am so excited to be able to play in the snow again! First of all....I would like to congratulate Carlotta for winning the photo challenge. You did an awesome job, I have to say so myself. Second of all, I think I'm gonna do a contest. How does that sound with you? I've been making these really awesome bracelets, but you'll have to find out what they look like once I am final about a contest. I would probably do it after Christmas that way I won't feel pressured to post anything.  Third of all, I believe that if someone didn't create hot chocolate than all of us would be dead...especially me. Today I was drinking the perfect cup of homemade peppermint hot chocolate with frothy marshmallows....it was super good. Some of the small things in life can make such a big difference, like this morning I saw the most beautiful sun-rise I have ever seen. It wasn't the kind with a bunch of red clouds or purple sky, it was just a giant florescent orange ball. I was standing in awe for a few minutes just starring at it. It reminded me of how God is so good and gracious to everyone. Can you believe that he made the sun look like that? Here is a picture of that awesome hot chocolate I was just talking about. Merry Christmas!

                                                                     Delicious
                                                          Mmmmmmmmmmmmm......
It truly was a perfect cup of cocoa
Please comment telling me what you think about the contest!

A Monday Photo Challenge

Here is my Picture for Louis's photo challenge...... The challenge is to take a picture of a place you love....and I love Port Washington! Have any of you ever been there? We go there to fish. We don't catch that many but it is still fun to run around on the rocks. The rocks there are absolutely huge there, they are about 5 feet wide and 6 feet tall. If you haven't been there you really should go. I hope you all enter Louis's photo challenge!
